Info
The wedding is on the 10th of December 2016.
Please arrive at 4:15 for a 4:30pm start.
Bag checks
Zealandia is a special place and needs to be protected. Before you come in, you will need to do a bag self-check as you go into the valley for bio security reasons.
Valley walks
Guests are not permitted to go beyond the Round Lawn. A rope will be pulled across the path so that people don't go wandering into the valley. However, if you would like to explore the valley, you are able to go for a walk in the valley if you pay on the day. All wedding guests can get a discounted entry.
What time does the bar close?
The bar closes at 11:45pm for a midnight finish. All guests must be departed by 12:30am.
Is smoking allowed?
There is no smoking allowed in the valley, in the building or out on the café balcony. There will be a designated smoking area at the reception.
Confetti Options
Please don't bring any confetti. Rose petals would be nice though (please don't bring other kinds of petals, to meet Zealandias bio-security requirements).
Sunday (11 December 2016)
We will be organising a picnic on Sunday, 11 December, for those that are sticking around. A Facebook event will be set up closer to the time.
Location
Zealandia is the world’s first fully-fenced urban ecosanctuary, with an extraordinary 500-year vision to restore a Wellington valley’s forest and freshwater ecosystems as closely as possible to their pre-human state. The 225 hectare ecosanctuary is a groundbreaking conservation project that has reintroduced 18 species of native wildlife back into the area, 6 of which were previously absent from mainland New Zealand for over 100 years.
Zealandia's address is:
53 Waiapu Road
Karori
Wellington
New Zealand 6012
There is parking available on-site.
Alternatively, many of Wellington's public buses will stop at the end of Waiapu Road. This is about a two minute walk from the sanctuary.

Gifts
As we have been sharing a home for some time we have decided not to have a traditional gift list. Instead we are asking for contributions to our married life together in the form of monetary contributions for our honeymoon.
We are hoping to spend a a week or two in Vietnam, somewhere we have both wanted to visit for a long time.
If there is enough leftover our goal is to get Chris a suit that fits!
Bank transfers can be made to: Katherine Champion 03-1790-0756615-00.
Please include 'wedding gift' as a reference.
